January is the perfect time to check how your home handled recent storms and make small adjustments before the next system rolls through.

Check side yards, crawl space vents, and shaded areas for standing water or muddy soil. Homes in Vallejo, Fairfield, and older parts of Benicia often reveal drainage issues after the rain clears.

✔️ Inspect gutters & downspouts (again) 🌧️
Even if you cleaned them earlier, wind and rain may have loosened debris. Make sure downspouts are directing water well away from the foundation.
